INFRASTRUCTURE FACILITY

Classrooms & Tutorial Rooms

Classrooms are very spacious, airy and equipped with latest PA system, overhead projector and modern magnetic ceramic board. Separate tutorial rooms with seating capacity for thirty-five students are also available for special classes.

Equipped with modern state-of-the-art gadgets

A Central Computer Centre with 120 computers is exclusively available to the students for net surfing and online study. A project laboratory is also proposed to be set up for Project,Research and development works. The entire campus is connected through Wi Fi network.

Students’ Amenities:

Health Care:
First Aid facility is available in the campus and medical help from local hospitals is arranged, whenever necessary.

Hostel:
Board and lodging facilities are available separately for outstation boys and girls. Vacancies are limited and allotted on a first-come-first-served basis.

Cafeteria:
The institute has an excellent cafeteria with a seating capacity of 200 persons. Multi-cuisine lunch and snacks are served in the cafeteria.

Cheap Store:
Essential books, stationary etc., as well as reprographic facilities are available at the cheap store. One PCO has also been installed there for convenience of the students.

Common Room:
The institute has a common room equipped with indoor games facilities like Table Tennis, Carom, Chess etc. Student can also have individual lockers( kept in the common room) against a payment of Rs.100 during their period of study.

Transportation:
Two-way transportation is available from prominent locations in Kolkata at scheduled hours based on students’ demand. Transport facilities for members of facility and staff and also for visitors are available from the Island near Ruby General Hospital.

Electric Substation and Generator:
The campus has its own electric substation in a single storied building with a total area of about 1700 sq. ft. It has six rooms where one 750 KVA transformer and 375 KVA gensets are housed. These are maintained as per norms prescribed by the CESC authorities.

Fire Fighting System:
As per stipulations of the West Bengal Fire Fighting Services Act, dedicated plumbing and fire fighting cylinders have been provided in each floor of the Institute building.

Banking:

An extension counter of Punjab National Bank within the campus takes care of the banking requirements of students and members of staff. It also extends various soft loans to students for their academic necessities.
